Welcome to my website which features a large variety of things I’ve sewn and quilted. When I was 8 years old my Aunt Grace Collins taught me to sew. She said that I learned quickly because I loved sewing very much. That summer I sewed a sleeveless blouse, shorts and a gathered skirt. I continued sewing through my teen years and got compliments for the clothes I wore.

I also love to quilt and in doing so I am creative in different ways. Quilting offers an endless variety of projects and techniques for me to learn and enjoy. I am a perfectionist and this is the manner in which I sew and quilt. I hope that you enjoy admiring my things and hopefully buy something.

I started my business a few years after losing my job in 2008 (the Recession period) and was not able to get another job. I decided to work from home because of my love for sewing/quilting. I’ve wanted my own website for a long time, but never had enough money to afford it. I recently earned enough money and am very excited about this new venture.

I will professionally sew/quilt unique things for your home, for you, for your children and wonderful gifts. I want to sell you things that you can enjoy for years to come. You may place a special order for most of the items I sell. Special orders allow you to select your own fabric. It is important to give my customers a personal choice and offer the best customer service possible. I’ve found pleasure in teaching adults and children how to sew. I am a patient teacher and understand that we all learn differently. I prefer to teach no more than 3 to 4 students at one time. My students and I feel a great sense of satisfaction after they complete their first project.
