Origami Design 14 inch Pillow Covers

I used a book written by a Japanese women to teach myself to fold origami designs using fabric instead of paper.  I sew regularly so fabric is what I am most comfortable using.  I enjoy folding origami and have taught this to many people.

The flower is definitely the focus of this design.  I chose light gray fabric to sew the pillows because I knew it would enhance the flower.  The circle around the flower with the handstitched purple braid and black design fabric add interest to the design.

You have to buy the inside pillows because I am only sewing the covers.  Those pillows should be 14 inches and it is best to take the covers with you and place the pillow inside to ensure a good fit.  Unfortunately, you cannot wash the covers due to the origami flower in a machine.  You can spot clean it by hand.
