Origami Floral Wall Decor
I fold origami using fabric instead of paper. I’ve enjoyed folding floral designs for years. The Japanese people invented origami and this fabric is Asian fabric. I’m glad that I used white fabric for the background because it allows the fabric’s beauty to shine. The oval design around the two flowers is a first for me. The stitching that you see around the leaves is called “sashiko” which is a Japanese stitch.
Included in the package is a curtain rod that needs to be inserted into the pocket at the back of the decor. Nail a picture hook in the wall and place the ends inside the hooks. I prefer to use removal picture hooks. Feel free to contact me with questions for hanging this wall decor.
